Cookies policy

I. GENERAL INFORMATION

1. Magia Lasu Agnieszka Toborek with its registered office at Sąsiedzka 37F, 42-209 Częstochowa (hereinafter: the Administrator), in accordance with the provisions of Articles 173-174 of the Act of 16 July 2004 Telecommunications Law, informs about the use of, cookies and other similar Internet technologies (such as IndexedDB and Web Storage) on the website available at www.visitcroatia-holidays.com.

2. With the help of cookies and other Internet technologies, only anonymous statistical data about users are collected. The information obtained through the indicated technologies is not assigned to a specific person and does not allow to identify him.

3. The placement and use of cookies and other Internet technologies is not harmful to the user's device (i.e. computer, phone or tablet), does not cause any changes to both the configuration of the device and the installed software and applications.

4. The purpose of using the above-mentioned technologies by the Website is:

1)      adjusting the content of websites to the user's preferences and optimizing the use of the Website; in particular, these files allow to recognize the user's device
and properly display the website, tailored to his individual needs;

2) creating anonymous analyzes and statistics on the use of the Website pages by users, which allows improving their structure and content.

 

II. COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

1. When using the Website, small text files are placed on the user's device. By default, these files contain the following information:

1) the name of the Website from which the cookie was sent;

2) Generated unique number;

3) the duration of the file retention.

2. These files can be divided according to the source of origin and the time they are stored on the user's device. The following types of files are used on the Website:

1) Due to the source of origin:

(a) the so-called first-party cookies - coming from the Website; the file contains a name indicating the Administrator's domain;

b) so-called third-party cookies - placed via the Website by external entities whose services are used by the Administrator.

2) Due to the time for which cookies will be placed on the user's device:

(a) session cookies, which are created each time you enter the Website and deleted when you close the browser window;

b) persistent cookies stored in the user's end device for the time specified in the parameters of cookies or until they are deleted by the person visiting the Website.

3. Third-party files are placed on the user's device in particular:

1) to study the activity of anonymous users and on this basis generate statistics that help in learning how to use the Website (e.g. using Google Analytics tools);

2) in order to enable the use of services and technologies of external entities placed on the Website (e.g. Messenger).

4. The Administrator also uses the capabilities of web browsers that can store information in their memory, including the following technologies enabling data storage:

1) IndexedDB - data stored in the form of objects, access to which is limited only to the relevant data sources - domains or subdomains from which they were saved;

2) Local Storage - a data store to which information is saved, which is stored permanently in the user's web browser until it is deleted.

 

IV. THIRD PARTIES

1. The Administrator informs that cookies may also be placed and used by external entities. The Website contains embedded buttons, tools or content directing to the services and websites of service providers or other entities cooperating with the Administrator (e.g. Facebook). The use of these applications may result in the transmission of information using cookies and similar technologies to designated third parties.

2. The Administrator recommends that after switching to other websites, the user should read the cookie policy of the indicated third parties.

 

V. HOW TO HANDLE COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

1. The Website User may make choices regarding the use of cookies by the Administrator and third parties. Changing the settings of cookies may affect the quality of using the services or prevent the use of some services and functionalities of the Website (e.g. in the event of disabling the cookies necessary for the proper functioning of the Website, saving the settings regarding the user's preferences).

2. The User may at any time withdraw consent to the use of certain cookies (e.g. for analytical purposes) by changing the settings, which does not affect the legality of the data processing process from before the withdrawal of consent.

3. The User may also at any time in his web browser change the settings of cookies or disable their service. If the user does not change the default browser settings in the scope of data collection files, these files will be placed on the end device and will be used in accordance with the rules specified by the browser provider.

5. Users who, after reading the information available on the Administrator's Website, do not want cookies and other technologies to remain stored in the device's web browser, should delete them from their browser after visiting the website www.visitcroatia-holidays.com
